This is the era of Research and Development because day by day new technologies are growing in the market. Hence there is a need of efficient simulator or software programs that can meet the requirement of the user in the given timeline. The MATLAB is enriched with thousands++ pre-defined functions that enable one to complete the given task on time.
We all know that there are thousands of engineering institute in India, out of which most are private institutes. And in the private institute the research facilities are almost zero that gives the direct reflection on the practical knowledge of the students and finally on the placement scenario ( i.e. very-very poor).
So there is a need of the student to learn those tools which gives some practical knowledge. The MATLAB is such tool that enables one, to understand a practical problem in deeper. In this direction I have organized a fifteen days(5th July to 21st July 2011) training program on “MATLAB & SIMULINK for Budding Engineers” at Anand Engineering College, Agra .
The aim of program is to trend the engineering students to face the current challenges. I am very thankful to the chairman of Anand Engineering College Sri Y.K Gupta and Director Dr. B.D. Gupta to provide the training facilities to students from all over India at a nominal price.
The fifteen days training program fee is only Rs. 1500/- (for internal participants) and Rs. 1800/- (for external participant) which includes the course material (e-books, lecture slide, webinars, practice sheets) bag, notebook, pen, snakes fee etc.
Today was the first day of my program. The program was started at 10:45AM after the inaugural speech of Mohd. Ayub khan sir, he explore the capabilities and application areas of MATLAB and motivate the students to present their training outcome in term of a small project.
There were total 44 participants (more than my expectation) from various institutes of India like, GLA Mathura, Krishna Institute of Technology(KIET) Ghaziabad, GL Bajaj Greater Noida, ITM Gwaliar, SIT Mathura, BMAS Agra, Anand Engg. College (AEC) Agra etc.
I and my colleague Mr. Shailendra Singh are the trainer of the program. We have divided the complete program in three modules. I will cover the Module 1 & Module 3 (11 Days) and shailendra singh will cover Module 2 (4 days). The complete information regarding course module can be downloaded fromwww.rkthenua.in .
The everyday program will be carried out in two sessions. First session will cover the theoretical portion of the course. The second session will be a practical session or Hands on session; in this session a practice sheet will be distributed to the each participant to convert the theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge.
Today in the first session I have covered the introduction of MATLAB and in the second session I familiarize the students with the MATLAB environment and trained them how to write the mathematical expressions in the MATLAB.
The students were so excited before as well as at the end of the both sessions.
I hope that all the students will learn much and much from this fifteen days training program and they will meet my expectations.
My journey of MATLAB Training has been started from today and I hope it will be more and more helpful for the B.Tech/M.Tech student’s .Such type of programs I will continued in every summer vacations to nurture the talent of the engineering students.
I say thanks to all my dear participant student and staff member to make my program a grand success.
